Our client a leading innovative spirit’s company is looking for an On Trade Key Account Management within The RTM channel across the UK. This role is home based in easy reach of mainland England & Wales with extensive customer travel.
Support the business strategy to grow our brand portfolio in the on trade RTM channel by driving distribution, visibility and activation programmes within the territory, bringing the brands to life in National and regional wholesalers and their depots.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a core number of agreed accounts within the territory to deliver the on trade RTM brand building plan and activation program. Examples of activation, perfect serve, sampling, tailored competitions, menu presence and permanent unique brand visibility across key influencers across the wholesalers and depots.
* Achieve core role KPI’s against Distribution, Visibility and Activation
* Create and implement profitable commercial agreements with key customers securing DVA to deliver volume growth.
* Networking with 3rd party sales team to maximise brand opportunities across the portfolio
* Identify new brand/outlet opportunities that enable targeting of the right consumers through networking and influencing Regional and National sales teams as well as call centres and their staff through Ra Ra days and specific training and education sessions
* Effectively plan and manage the working day to ensure coverage is achieved at key trading times of customers. This will involve evening work and a requirement and some time away overnight entertaining and attending Brand training sessions
* Build and maintain an Account Plan across the designated customer base as directed by the RSM or Channel Head
* Take ownership of the customers to become business expert and lead for any future brand projects as directed.
* Support the development of Proximo’s prestige strategy across appropriate accounts and delivery of ranging and visibility solutions appropriate to an opinion leading / luxury account base
* Create and execute the RTM business plans in conjunction with the RSM and Channel Head, and Brand s team
* Maximise RTM business through promotions and activations to suit the customers

Knowledge and Experience
* Educated to degree level or equivalent.
* Demonstrated commercial knowledge.
* Understanding and passion for the on-trade, and how RTMs work across National and Regional customers.
* Competent in using a computer.
* Ability to write reports and prepare spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentation.
