We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our client in Saltaire. You will be responsible for managing stock, processing orders, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. Training is provided for those with some experience in warehouse roles, but an eye for detail and ability to work with numbers are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Goods In: Booking in products and stocking them correctly.
* Pick Sheets: Managing stock orders, picking, and checking off products with precision.
* Dispatching Orders: Packing and shipping products to customers or relocating stock within the site.
* Equipment Use: Basic experience with PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) or similar equipment is an advantage
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a warehouse or stores operative role is a must
* Strong attention to detail and proficiency in basic stock management.
* Ability to work in a small, organized space with tubs and racking systems.
* Good numeracy skills for stock checking.
