Advantage are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to work in the Riston/ Mylar departments of one of our clients in the Bradford area. This role is temporary with the view of going permanent after 12 weeks for the right candidate.
Duties include
* Converting large widths of Riston/Mylar film to bespoke widths driven by customer demand
* Set/Operate machinery (knives/tensions/speeds)
* Comply with QC regulations
* Maintain machinery
* Adhere to ISO/BRC regulations
* Load machinery with raw material and off load finished product
* Monitor running machinery
* Inspect finish Raw/Finished product for defects and report accordingly
* Ensuring machines are running to required speed (maximum throughputs)
* Monitor waste (work effectively)
* General house keeping

Hours
36 hours per week, working double day shifts which alternate weekly
AM Mon-Thurs 06:30-14:00 and 06:30-12:30 Fri
PM Mon-Thurs 14:00-21:45 and 12:30-17:30 Fri
Starting rate of pay £11.10 per hour to start with, earning potential of £13.55 once the successful candidate is trained on the machines in the Slitting Department
