Double Day Shifts
Advantage are currently looking for numerous Operators to work on a rotating double day shift, to join one of our Bradford based manufacturing clients on a Temporary basis with a view of going Permanent for the right candidates after 12 weeks. The main purpose of the Operator role is to operate machinery ensuring production targets are achieved.
This role involves:
" Load the machine
" Ensuring smooth flow of product through the machine
" Monitoring each stage of the machine to ensure no jams or quality issues
" Quality control & inspection
" Packing from the end of the machine
" Weighing the products
" Boxing
" Labelling
" Palletising
" Working to production targets
" Entering numerical information onto records and PC
" Working with high speed machinery
The ideal candidate:
" Must have previous experience of working with high speed machinery
" Must be able to work at speed
" Have the ability to multi task to keep the machine loaded and running
" Have quality inspection skills
" Have the ability to check own work
" Flexible to work in another department where necessary
" Have an element of flexibility regarding working hours
Hours of work:
Double Day shifts (Rotating weekly)
AM: Monday to Thursday 06:30 – 14:00/ Friday 06:30 – 12:00
PM: Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 21:45/ Friday 12:30 – 17:30
