Based in Castle Donington , our client is a supplier of ambient and health and beauty goods.
With a specific niche client base of members of the Travelling Showman Guild they supply food and drink products to customers who host and attend travelling fun fairs , events , festivals and Christmas markets etc.. as well as a separate arm of the business that works within the grey import arena.
Ideally you will be a seasoned buyer with experience of negotiating within the grey import sector , be well networked with a good contact list across the UK and Europe allowing you to purchase both the drinks and food products required by the client from direct suppliers as well as identifying "job lot" deals that can be sold via their supplier/distribution network client base.
You may be a buyer for a discount retailer , wholesaler or retailer that offers a broad spectrum of products. Examples being Home Bargains, Price Check , Tommy Morris , Intermark, TK Maxx, Costco or similar.This would suit the sectors they work in.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will have autonomy to purchase products as varied as food , wines and spirits to a grey import purchase of sunscreen or toothpaste!
Offering remote working you will however need to be within an easy commutable distance of the Castle Donington site where you will be required to attend their offices a couple of times a week.
