Advantage Group are delighted to working in partnership with a modular housing manufacturer based in Coventry.
They are looking for multi trades people to join their busy team.
Based in their new 350,000 square feet production facility in Coventry you will be working inside assisting with the construction of the modular homes.
You will need to be able to work effectively and to production targets , this is critical to enabling to house building targets to be achieved.

The role will be to carry out remedial work on various modular properties carrying out anything from fitting skirting boards, hanging doors, door frames, small patch work plastering, plumbing, painting and decorating.
SHIFT PATTERN 7.30AM- 4.30PM MONDAY-FRIDAY
To work in planned and responsive manner within the given timeframes for each modular unit.
To work whilst maintaining the standards of their modular construction.
Conducting manual work relative to the modular units and preparation of the factory ahead of planned production
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
To undertake plumbing and carpentry repairs and maintenance work in the factory and on site as required.
To carry out maintenance on both domestic and commercial modular properties.
To work on various modular units carrying out anything from fitting skirting boards, hanging doors, door frames, small pipe work plastering, plumbing preparation, painting and decorating and carrying out remedial works.
To promote high levels of customer care ensuring that the work done on the modular units is to the highest standard.
To comply with all company policies, systems, and procedures in terms of performance and quality of work.
Read, understand and comply with the Health and Safety Policy and Procedure.
Always work in accordance with any Risk Assessment, Method Statement or Safe System of work.
Ensure relevant Task Specific Risk Assessments are available for tasks such as Work at Height, Electrical, Gas, COSHH and Manual Handling
Develop a concern for personal safety and the safety of others.
Cooperate with the company in all matters pertaining to Health and Safety.
Do not operate any plant or equipment that has become defective.
Report and Record any Personal Injury or Occupational Health matter on the required forms and ensure you inform your line manager.
Ensure you are aware of Local First Aiders, Welfare Provision and Emergency.
Experience in carpentry and plumbing essentials
Experience is essential, as are tools.
You must have Full UK driving license.
City & Guilds / NVQ 2 in either Plumbing or Carpentry is preferred but not essential.
Comprehensive working knowledge of Schedules of Rates, appreciation of all trades.
Ability to work and manage workload to produce high standards of work
High Level of communication, demonstrating customer care and sensitivity.
Working knowledge and compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
Working as a team member and comply with set objectives.
Whilst working hours are contracted, the postholder will be expected to take a responsible attitude to delivering work objectives which may involve an occasional working longer hours.
Clocking in and out daily
Wearing safety boots and PPE
Completion of weekly timesheets when working on site.
Adherence to Health & Safety regulations

At least one year’s work experience in on- and offsite construction.
Knowledge of modular construction an advantage.
