As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Auditor to join their team. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring that their operations adhere to regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and internal standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Audit Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive audit plans based on regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Conduct thorough and objective audits of aviation processes, systems, and documentation.
Evaluate compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
1. Risk Assessment:
Identify potential risks and areas of non-compliance within aviation operations.
Collaborate with relevant departments to assess and mitigate identified risks.
1. Documentation Review:
Scrutinize and analyse aviation documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Provide recommendations for improvements to documentation processes.
1. Continuous Improvement:
Work closely with internal stakeholders to implement corrective actions and improvements based on audit findings.
Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices to enhance audit processes continually.
1. Communication:
Prepare clear and concise audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
Communicate audit results to management, relevant departments, and regulatory authorities as required.
1. Training and Education:
Provide training and guidance to internal teams on regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
Stay abreast of changes in aviation regulations and disseminate relevant information within the organization.
Requirements:
1. Education:
Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, or a related field.
1. Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation auditing.
In-depth knowledge of UK aviation regulations and international standards.
1. Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.
