Advantage are currently recruiting Production MIG Welders for one of our clients, who specialise in sheet metal work, based in the Leicester area.
This is a temporary role with the potential of going permanent after 13 weeks, for the right candidate.
Duties
* Perform MIG welding tasks according to specifications and Drawing
* Assemble and fabricate metal components using welding techniques
* Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet standards and specifications
* Operate power tools and hand tools necessary for welding and fabrication
* Read and interpret drawings, and welding symbols
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Candidate
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG welding
* Proficient in welding techniques, including MIG and Sheet metal welding
* Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
* Ability to read and interpret drawings, and welding symbols
* Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in welding and fabrication
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Hours & salary
Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30
Paying up to £14 per hour DOE
OT is paid at time and one half after basic hours
